Want to Raise Money for the Clarets Trust?

The Clarets Trust is actively engaged in organising events throughout the year, the purpose of which is twofold: firstly, to raise awareness of the Trust and what it stands for, and secondly to raise funds so that we can fulfil our aims. To see these aims, please click here .

As well as organising our own events, we also encourage other people to take part in fundraising for the Trust. If you would like to help by organising a fundraising event, the proceeds of which would be donated to the Trust, your efforts would be very welcome, and you will be thanked by the Trust publicity. We would, however, ask that anyone intending to put forward a fundraising activity, first contact us before announcing the event. This will enable us to agree on the objectives of the activity, publicity and any wording to be used, allow us to give our formal backing to the event, and promote it on our website and in our newsletter. It will also help to avoid any clash of dates with an event we might be planning, but have not yet announced.

We look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested in helping to further the aims of the Trust, and your efforts will be greatly appreciated. We would also be happy to discuss 'joint ventures', where funds were raised for the Trust and another worthy cause, whether football-related or not.

Can you spare a bit of time for the Trust?

You may be surprised to know just how much goes on behind the scenes to keepĀ  the trust up and running, and to keep our members informed of all the latest news and developments. Just as an example, the Trust Board,co-opted Committee members, volunteers and associates, share between 50 and 80 emails each and every day, where ideas and information are exchanged and discussed, before you see the finished items on this website or in the trust newsletters.

So, we are asking for your help, even if it's only the occasional hour now and again, helping out at Open Meetings or at trust events. It might just be helping with handouts at meetings, being a helper at events such as the
Trust Beer Festival, or before home matches giving out Trust information in one of the stands. You don't have to make any sort of long-term commitment - just let us know what you can do and when you can do it, and we'll contact you.

We would also be interested to hear from anyone with a particular skill or trade, who might be willing to help out on a specific project, by donating some time and possibly some materials, to help the Trust. For example, we are looking at using some of the programme booths (kindly donated by the club) in the main stands to promote the trust on matchdays. There is going to be a small amount of work required - possibly joinery and fixing shelves etc... Printing is another key requirement, and any brewers would be especially welcome!!

If any small local businesseses or tradesmen are willing to help, even on a one-off basis, we will be pleased to offer one year's FREE Corporate Membership of the Trust, which will include free advertising for your business in our Newletters, Events Programmes and in the Corporate section of the Trust website

If you can help in any way, please contact us with your suggestions.
