Ticketing: Frequently Asked Questions and Answers 1.I am a Burnley supporter but I do not have a Season Ticket. Will I be able to pay for admission to a Premiership match on the turnstile? No, you can't buy tickets at the turnstile this season, but tickets are available from the Ticket Office. 2.How can I buy a ticket for the match then? We have a certain amount of tickets kept for supporters who cannot make every game. These are available from the ticket office or over the phone from four weeks before the fixture, with people who have joined the membership scheme getting a two week priority. 3.How do I apply to be in the membership scheme and what does it cost? The membership scheme costs £20 per person for the season. Members receive a 20% discount off tickets they purchase, meaning it can save money if used eough times over the course of the season. 4.Suppose I am neither a season ticket holder nor in the membership scheme? Subject to availability, tickets will go on general sale 2 weeks before the fixture. For bigger games, especially against Blackburn Rovers, we may need to implement different procedures, so having a membership is the best way of getting tickets. 5.If I join the membership scheme will I be able to reserve the same seat for all those matches that I wish to attend? Tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so we cannot guarantee you a specific seat for every game. As long as you apply early enough, you should be able to specify where about you would like to sit. 6.I want to bring my children to a few games, do they need their own membership for me to buy them tickets? It is strictly one ticket per member in the priority period, so they would need to purchase the membership as well. Alternatively, you could wait until after the members priority period and buy the tickets once they are on general sale. 7.If I don't want to use my membership for a match can I buy a ticket for my friend? Yes, but you will be held responsible for their behaviour at the game. They must also be in the same age category as you. 8.I am a Season Ticket Holder, and I wish to go to an away game. How do I get a ticket? That depends on how many 'loyalty points' you have accumulated. The 'loyalty points' thresholds for priority purchases will be announced when we receive out ticket allocation from the Club we are visiting and will be announced on our website and in the media. Typically, the starting criteria for this is to have at least 2,000 points. 9.How can I find out how many 'loyalty points' I have? The ticket office will be able to advise you if you give them your clarets number which you will find inside your season ticket book. As a guide we have been giving 350 points a season for the last 6 seasons plus 10 points for each individual match ticket purchased. 10.Can you give me any idea as to how many 'loyalty points' I am likely to need for a ticket? We currently have approximately 4000 supporters with over 2000 loyalty points. We have used this number as the threshold for priority bookings to date. Tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis, and if after the initial batch of applications we have tickets remaining they will be offered to supporters with a lesser number of points. 11.How do I get tickets near my friends for away games? The only way to get tickets next to your friends is to apply as a group. We would need one application with all the applicants' details in. However, if one of the applicants does not have enough loyalty points, it could slow down the application for everyone else.
