Clarets Trust wish all our membership and all those using our Trust website a very happy and prosperous New Year.

Our Chairman, Peter Pike provides his now traditional New Year's Message below so please read on

On behalf of the Clarets Trust I do hope you all had a great Christmas and wish you all a very Happy New Year. A year ago I said it would be really great to have a real celebration at the end of the season. We certainly had that in style in May 2009! This year it will be a major achievement and celebration to keep our place in the Premier League and we wish Owen Coyle and all his squad well in that aim.

The Trust has now achieved its aim to have 100 shares in the Club but more importantly than that is the relationship and working agreement with the Club on which we continue to build all the time. This is good for the club, the Trust and indeed all fans as we try to put forward a democratic input from the view of Clarets supporters.
We have very special membership deals to improve our membership from the start of the New Year as part of our celebrations for our fifth anniversary. We really do want to welcome new members into the Trust and it would be great to develop good links with all Clarets Supporters Clubs and indeed other shareholders in the Club.
Our aim remains to do all we can to ensure the success of Burnley Football Club both on the pitch and in the community.

We thank all those who have assisted the Trust in any way in 2009, it really is appreciated. The success of the club has done much to boost the town and us all over the last 12 months.
